Learning all about Hair

Hair Hair Hair.  Luna's hair is finally long enough that combing it out each day is not fun for Luna or me.  So I have started to attempt some styles.  At first I was really nervous, having no idea what to do.  I read a bunch of blogs online and decided to jump on in.  Luna is a trooper, I just put on a TV show and she sits still, which is impressive if you know Luna.  Here are my first few attempts and every time it gets easier and better.  

This is my very first attempt.  She did great, but I did not like the end result.  I took the photo knowing some day I would look back and laugh. Go me for trying, you have to start somewhere!


This was my second attempt.  Again Luna was a trooper but I did not like it.

I thought this was cute, looked like a little crown.  I am going to try it again and maybe braid in some colored ribbons.

Success!  I love this look on her and it is pretty easy to do only 30 minutes or so :)

I did not get a good photo of this one, but Brian told me very nicely that this was not his favorite.

I just did this one today.  The idea came from a little girl in the grocery store.  I am really starting to enjoy doing her hair, this one took awhile and by the end she was having a hard time sitting still.  Her hair is becoming a fun creative outlet for me.

Next week I go to a class to learn how to braid, should be fun!
